Grayscale’s Strategic Ethereum Trust Retraction Filing Raises Questions Per a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Grayscale has withdrawn its 19b-4 filing for listing and trading its ether trust, known as ETHE. This development unfolds at a juncture when the general consensus among the community is that the prospects of the SEC greenlighting an ETH-based ETF are fairly low. Analysts and prediction markets have assigned a minimal probability to the SEC’s approval, with some even suggesting the likelihood is nil. After the withdrawal, James Seyffart, an ETF analyst at Bloomberg, addressed the retraction in a post on the social media platform X. “This is interesting,” Seyffart said. “Grayscale just withdrew their 19b-4 filing for an ethereum futures ETF. This was essentially a trojan horse filing in my view, in order to create the same circumstances that allowed Grayscale to win the GBTC lawsuit (approve futures deny spot)” [I don’t know] why they’d do this honestly. In my mind might as well make the SEC write up an approval or denial for an ETH futures ETF and go from there? Maybe the SEC spoke with Grayscale about this… And whatever was said convinced Grayscale to withdraw? (This is a complete guess). While the reasons behind the decision remain unclear, speculation persists and the likelihood of approval has diminished further. As the crypto community ponders the implications, this withdrawal could mark a complete recalibration of expectations regarding ethereum-based, physically-settled ETFs.#BTC##HotTopicDiscussion##GateioBountyCreator#
About the performance of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) Every operation on the Ethereum mainnet costs a certain amount of Gas. If we put all the calculations required to run the basic application on the chain, either the app will crash or the user will go bankrupt. This gave birth to L2: OPRU introduces a collator to bundle a bunch of transactions before committing to mainnet. This not only helps the app to undertake the security of Ethereum, but also gives users a better experience. Users can submit transactions faster, and fees are cheaper. While operations have become cheaper, it still uses the native EVM as the execution layer. Similar to ZK Rollups, Scroll, Polygon zkEVM uses or will use EVM-based zk circuits, and zk Proof will generate...
NEAR Public Chain Integrates Privacy Protocol Nillion: A Perfect Combination of Performance and Privacy Recently, a well-known public chain has reached a collaboration with the privacy protocol Nillion to introduce blind computing and blind storage technologies into this high-performance L1 public chain. This integration combines the outstanding performance of the public chain with Nillion's advanced privacy tools, providing blind computing capabilities for hundreds of projects in the ecosystem. This collaboration brings a modular data privacy solution to the public chain. Developers can flexibly execute data storage and computation operations within the Nillion network while achieving transparent settlement on the blockchain. This modular design provides greater flexibility for application architecture. Nillion's private data management capabilities significantly expand the capabilities of this public blockchain. By providing private storage and computation for various types of data, it greatly broadens the scope of privacy protection applications.
Research on the Liquidity play people for suckers problem in the Layer 2 era After Ethereum shifted to a Layer 2-centric expansion plan, coupled with the rise of tools like RaaS, numerous public chains have rapidly developed. Many entities hope to build their own chains to represent different interests and seek higher valuations. However, the emergence of numerous public chains has made it difficult for the ecosystem to keep up, leading to many projects experiencing a loss of value at the TGE. Borrowing OP
The rise and innovation of AI Layer 1 Blockchain platform With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, traditional Blockchain architectures can no longer meet the demands of AI applications for high-performance computing and complex data processing. This has led to the rise of Layer 1 Blockchain platforms optimized specifically for AI, which exhibit diverse characteristics in terms of technical architecture, application scenarios, and business models. This article provides an in-depth analysis of five leading AI Layer1 projects: Bittensor, Vana, Kite AI, Nillion, and Sahara. Bittensor: Decentralized AI Network Infrastructure Bittensor, as an early explorer in the Blockchain AI field, is committed to building an open decentralized artificial intelligence collaborative network. Its goal is to break the centralized barriers in traditional AI research and development, allowing more participants to contribute together.
