USDC officially logs in to the Stellar network, XLM price rises by 1.66%
USDC stablecoin is now available on the Stellar network. Users can use USDC in any Stellar account through multiple Wallets and trade in an ecosystem that includes over 9,000 assets.
In October last year, Stellar became one of the official support chains for USDC. Enterprises and developers can access Stellar USDC through Circle's account and API services in a one-stop manner. Enterprises can associate their bank accounts with the functions of minting, exchanging, storing, sending, and receiving Stellar USDC.
Circle executives stated that the choice of Stellar is to expand the use of stablecoins on that network. They believe that Stellar is changing the international payment landscape through leading technology and a rapidly evolving ecosystem, creating a new generation of financial applications. With a reliable and transparent USD stablecoin like USDC, combined with Circle's API services, it will help accelerate the pace and scale of innovation.
Stellar has also stated that the design of the network in terms of cross-border payments and tokenization aligns with the vision of USDC.
According to the latest market data, the current price of XLM is 0.3442 USD, up 1.66%. USDC is reported at 0.9992 USD, down 0.17%. The two rank 11th and 12th in cryptocurrency market capitalization respectively.
In addition, the Stellar Foundation has also had significant developments recently. Earlier this month, the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation chose the foundation to participate in the development of its central bank digital currency project.
