"I can only be sure that I have made a profit of 10 times when I have made a profit of 12 times."
—— Crazy Corey
This sentence was born at the moment when my earnings first reached 10 times.
10, 100, 1000... these numbers have been given too much meaning by us, gradually becoming the "threshold" in our minds. Breaking through 10 times brings natural joy. However, it is precisely this slight emotional fluctuation, this imperceptible expansion, that often buries hidden dangers for the next transaction—one oversight, and the profits may fall, repeatedly being tugged at the 10 times boundary. The psychology after breaking down creates even more fluctuations, thus affecting the next transaction. This originally indifferent number, under the influence of psychology, surprisingly becomes a real bottleneck.
Why bother like this?
In the blink of an eye, I saw through this trap. So I said to myself, "Wait until the profit reaches 11 times before confirming that 10 times." However, I then thought of the withdrawal rule: "For every 10 times profit, withdraw the principal." If I confirm 10 times at 11 times and withdraw one time, wouldn't I be back at the starting point of 10 times, falling into that integer threshold?
Simply put, one step to success:
"Confirm 10 times achievement when the return is 12 times."
At this point, the issue that arose from people's hearts, which should not have been a problem, was lightly pierced by this seemingly absurd yet directly to the point law.
