A Move from a 10 Trillion Dollar Financial Giant Could Start a New Rally in Bitcoin!
A new move from the financial giant Charles Schwab, which manages assets worth over 10 trillion dollars, has arrived regarding Bitcoin (BTC).
Accordingly, the financial giant announced that it is preparing to launch direct spot cryptocurrency trading.
Charles Schwab CEO Rick Wurster recently stated in a speech that the company aims to launch Bitcoin trading services by April 2026.
CEO Wurster stated that the company is on a great path to offering spot BTC trading services within 12 months, depending on regulatory clarity.
Wurster noted that there has been an increase in investor interest in digital assets recently, citing as proof the 400% increase in traffic to Schwab's crypto website.
The CEO also added that 70% of the traffic on the website and the incoming visitors are potential new customers.
Experts stated that Charles Schwab's entry into the spot crypto market signals a significant shift in institutional stance towards Bitcoin. At this point, it was expressed that Schwab's entry into the crypto market could reflect the impact of the Bitcoin ETFs launched by BlackRock and Fidelity in early 2024 on the market.
According to experts, this strategic move could provide significant capital inflow to Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, and Bitcoin may be on the verge of a new bullish cycle.
Bitcoin has continued to trade at $87,360 after recovering by 2.7% in the last 24 hours.
