The yield on the 10-year US Treasury bond touched a low point in 2025, prompting traders to increase bets on rate cuts.

Golden Finance reported that US Treasury bonds pumped, with the 10-year Treasury yield dropping by 10 basis points, as traders increased bets on a rate cut by the Federal Reserve, and Donald Trump's tariff plan suppressed risk appetite. The 10-year US Treasury yield fell below 4.30%, the lowest level in over two months. The currency market implies that the Fed will further ease monetary policy, fully digesting the expectations of two 25 basis point rate cuts by the Fed this year for the first time in four weeks. The 10-year US Treasury yield hit a new low for the year in the past week as investors gained confidence in a weakening US economy and a resumption of rate cuts.
