Proton launches self-hosted BTCWallet, supporting iOS, Android, and Web platforms

ChainCatcher message, according to The Block, the privacy technology company Proton announced that its self-hosted BTCWallet Proton Wallet is officially open to all users, supporting iOS, Android, and Web. Previously, the Wallet was only open to early access users. Proton was founded by CERN scientists in Switzerland in 2014. Its products include Proton Mail, Proton VPN, and Proton Drive, which are privacy protection services. The total number of users exceeds 100 million. Proton stated that the Wallet is designed to allow users to hold and trade BTC more securely and conveniently, support sending BTC via email, and use end-to-end encryption to enhance privacy.
