COSCO SHIPPING: It is expected that the net profit attributable to the parent company will increase by 25% to 45% year-on-year in 2024.

On January 26, Jinshi Data reported that China COSCO Shipping is expected to achieve a net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company of 1.33 billion yuan to 1.54 billion yuan in the fiscal year 2024, an increase of 25% to 45% year-on-year. The main reasons include the rise in core business, the impact of non-recurring gains and losses, and the impact of asset impairment losses. Among them, the core business is affected by factors such as the improvement of global maritime trade supply and demand and the improvement of the shipping market, and the revenue, gross profit, and period lease levels all rise compared to the same period last year.
