Odaily Planet Daily News Elon Musk announced that he will modify the X Algorithm and prioritize the promotion of content considered informative or educational, which has been widely opposed. Musk said the planned changes were in response to 'too much negative content' on X. In a January 3rd social media post, he wrote, 'Our goal is to maximize the user's regret-free usage time. Too much negative content is being pushed, which technically increases user's usage time, but does not increase the user's regret-free usage time.' On this, users on X describe the changes in Algorithm as a form of review and question Musk's authority to decide on 'negative content' on the platform.
