BlockBeats news, on November 20th, according to Arkham data, Bhutan has accumulated 12,207 BTC, about 1.14 billion US dollars, accounting for 34% of its GDP. These BTC Holdings come from BTC Mining activities conducted by Druk Holdings, the investment department of the Kingdom of Bhutan. Currently, Bhutan ranks third in the latest government BTC holdings list, behind the United States and the United Kingdom. BlockBeats previously reported that the Bhutanese government has been secretly operating BTC Mining business using its renewable energy for at least three years. Ujjwal Deep Dahal, CEO of Druk Holding & Investments, said in an interview that Mining is the least risky way for Bhutan to participate in the encryption field, and the country will focus on BTC Mining.
