More than 200 venture capitalists voiced their support for Harris

On August 1, Jinshi Data reported that on July 31, more than 200 venture capitalists publicly supported Kamala Harris's presidency, saying that without a "strong and trustworthy institution," Silicon Valley and other industries would collapse. Signatories to the "VCs for Kamala" pledge included billionaires Mark Cuban, Reid Hoffman and Reid Hoffman, as well as industry leaders such as Brook Byers, co-founder of Kleiner Perkins, Ron Conway of SV Angel, and Aileen Lee of Cowboy Ventures. The group described themselves as "supporting business, the American dream, entrepreneurial spirit and technological progress".
